People behind Epiteach

Ogechi Ikechi
Founder

With over 12 years of dedicated experience in education, Ms. Ogechi Ikechi has had the privilege of shaping young minds in some of the most prestigious schools, including the British International School, Nobelhouse College, and The RiverBank School. As an English and Literature educator, Ms. Ogechi has taught a diverse body of learners across the globe, guiding them through GCSE preparation with multiple examination boards such as AQA, CAIE, EDEXCEL, EDUQAS, College Board, WAEC, and JAMB. Beyond subject expertise, Ms. Ogechi brings a unique blend of counselling skills and socio-emotional learning strategies into the classroom, fostering not only academic growth but also the holistic development of students. At the core of Ms. Ogechi’s teaching philosophy is the conviction that learners can reach their fullest potential when teaching is both outstanding (in pedagogy) and learner-centred. This means creating a dynamic learning environment that listens to and responds to the needs of each student, inspiring them to discover their strengths and thrive. As Founder of EpiTeach and leading the team of excellent tutors, Ms. Ogechi continues to be an advocate for and driver of excellence in education, nurturing confident, resilient, and empowered learners prepared for success in their academics and, by extension, every sphere of life.
